About Delikata

 

Delikata was launched in 2020 as a home-based bakery operating under a Minnesota cottage foods license.

We specialize in fine pastries, cakes, and desserts and source the best-possible products for our treats, including local cream and butter, ethically produced European couverture chocolate, organic ingredients, and seasonal fruit. Everything is made with care and a creative eye in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Hi, I’m Dev, Delikata’s dessert designer

I love making desserts and pastries, and Delikata gives me a chance to share my creations with others. I started out baking for family and friends. As a kid, my signature treat was lemon meringue pie; I’ve since gotten a bit fancier and branched out into macarons, patisserie and chocolates. I also enjoy the chance to design and decorate desserts, because treats should delight the eye as well as the palate.

When I’m not making things for Delikata, you will find me working at my main job (teaching college students about global politics), gardening, dreaming about post-pandemic globetrotting, and watching the Eurovision Song Contest along with my husband/resident taste-tester and my two dogs, Archie and Enzo.
