Chocolate is delicious but sadly, its production process is not always sustainable or ethical, which can lead to both environmental and labor abuses if companies do not pay strict attention to how their chocolate is produced and whose labor is being exploited. At Delikata, we are committed to using the finest European couverture chocolate (chocolate that includes only cocoa butter and no vegetable oils like cheaper chocolate products do). Moreover, we use chocolate suppliers that commit to responsible and sustainable sourcing, fair-trade practices. This makes our chocolate cost more, but we think ethical chocolate makes for tastier chocolate!
